I study how complex systems behave — from adaptive meshes simulating earthquake tsunamis to validation platforms for self-driving cars. Along the way I've been a researcher, a Chief Product Owner at Bosch, and now a startup co-founder.
At Bosch I spent 7+ years building simulation and software-in-the-loop testing platforms for L3/L4 automated driving. My team pioneered digital validation approaches that cut dependency on physical proving grounds. The work was equal parts technical architecture and organizational alignment — getting 5+ internal teams and external partners to ship on the same cadence. Hardest thing I've done. Also the most rewarding.
Before Bosch I researched high-performance computing at TU München and the Isaac Newton Institute in Cambridge — simulating earthquake physics on supercomputers with billions of grid cells. That background shaped how I think about scale: whether it's HPC simulation or autonomous vehicle validation, the challenge is the same — making complex systems reliable at scale.
Currently I'm co-founder and CEO of Tornaido UG, building AI-powered personalized learning tools. We launched Lernaido — an assessment and learning platform — and I'm deep in product, architecture, and figuring out what it means to build an ed-tech company from scratch. It's a different kind of hard, and I love it.

Led integration of 3 external simulation platforms into Bosch's validation ecosystem. Hardest part: aligning 4 different release cycles, each with their own priorities. Learned that platform architecture is 20% tech and 80% coordination. Evaluated toolchains and made build-vs-buy calls for testing infrastructure.
Built simulation and SIL testing workflows that let Bosch run regression tests for L3/L4 driving functions across multiple development cycles. Proudest achievement: a digital validation framework that cut proving ground dependency by ~30%. Coordinated a multi-partner ecosystem — internal teams, external vendors, and customer requirements — all shipping to the same cadence. Defined product architecture for ISO 26262 compliant testing.
First product owner for Bosch's SIL testing platform. Set up continuous integration workflows for L3/L4 driving functions — something that didn't exist before in the division. Ran Scrum/SAFe, sprint reviews, and coordinated cross-functional teams. This was where I learned that good product management is mostly saying "no" to the right things.
